What is alcohol abuse?
Lot of peoples in the world drinking alcohol. In moderate amounts and if not often it ok, and considered as moderate drinking.
What is moderate drinking?
(for person who not pregnant, not have any disease (including mental) or drugs addiction and not alcoholic)
1. Girl/Women (per day), not more then 5 ounces of wine or 12 ounces of beer or wine cooler. Not more than 1.5 ounces of alcohol such as 40% tequilla, whisky or vodka.
2. Men (per day), not more then 10 ounces of wine or 24 ounces of beer or wine cooler. Not more than 3 ounces of alcohol such as 40% tequilla, whisky or vodka.
3. Senior (Men, 60+), see section 1 (as for girl/women).
If you drinking more than this limits - you are on the way to become alcoholic.
Alcohol abuse is pattern of drinking that involves next troubles :
1. Legal troubles related alcohol
2. Continued drinking in relationship troubles.
3. Drinking when driving, at work.
4. 'I not remember what was yesterday' factors. Uncontrollable physical violations to family or to unknown persons, etc.
Alcohol Dependence :

Here is 5 alcoholism stages.
1. Drinking become not social thing, person slowly start develop tolerance to alcohol and need it in more and more dosages.
2. Drinker start looking for places and situation where him can get alcohol drink. Some peoples even start drinking himself from the morning. "Loss of control" start happen sometimes. Troubles with kidney and liver develops.
3. "loss of contol" become more observable. After first alcohol drink person cannot stop himself from drinking more and more. Usually it begin of financial, relationship, employment related troubles. Heart attacks is common on this stage.
4. "chronic loss of control". Social life broken, person have only few drinkers-friends. Begin of tremors, which indication of serious nervous disorder. When tremors combined with hallucinations - it Delirium tremens begin develops. Delirium tremens is deadly kind of alcoholism withdrawal!
5. Delirium tremens, also known as DTs, fetal alcohol syndrome. death of drinker.
